Clinical Governance & Patient Safety

We have a strong Clinical Governance infrastructure, and with ENT and Cardiovascular consultants as the overarching Clinical Leads we can demonstrate to Commissioners that the principles of good integrated governance, which include effective clinical governance, are embedded into practice.

We carry out regular audit and review of our practices, policies and procedures ensuring that deficiencies are reported to the Commissioner and any identified improvements to the Service implemented within timescales agreed with the Commissioner.
